Interested in Sponsoring a Brickenden Award?
What are the Brickenden Awards?
The Brickenden Awards recognize outstanding work in independent London theatre – from drama to comedy to musical productions. They are named after Catharine Brickenden (1896–1993), who was instrumental in nurturing the London theatre scene in the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s. At present there are 19 separate categories of Brickenden Awards.
Why sponsor an award?
In addition to supporting the theatre community, a $100 sponsorship will attach your name or your company’s or organization’s name to one of the awards listed in the program and you will be acknowledged during the awards ceremony and in the program. You, your company or your organization will also be noted in media releases relating to the ceremonies. In addition, you will receive two complimentary tickets for the evening.
How do I sponsor an award?
Choose the award you would like to sponsor. Keep in mind that the number of awards is limited, so it is advisable to act quickly. You may wish to select a second choice, in case the one you prefer is already taken. Additional sponsorship opportunities are also available. When you are ready to sponsor, please contact the Brickenden Committee Chair, Matt Loop, by e-mail.
